Smith Road Bridge over Red Chute Bayou reopened Thursday morning after crews removed the final road closure signage, and the upgraded bridge featuring a 40-foot span replacing a 15-foot wooden span is located 1.6 miles east of U.S.-71 and 3.8 miles west of Highway-527.
