- ➤ Mary Springhill A.M.E. Church offered free meals today in Shreveport, serving chicken soup, cornbread + drinks to neighbors as part of its ongoing effort to address food insecurity. KTBS
- ➤ America 250 is marking the nation's 250th anniversary by urging volunteerism. Chair Rosie Rios said 250 registrants will share a $1 million award (each will donate $4,000 to a charity) when they sign up online. KTBS
