- ➤ The U.S. Department of Labor reported that Louisiana had 892 new unemployment claims last week, up from 862 in the previous week while national claims climbed to 208,000 in a Thursday report. Shreveport Times
- ➤ The U.S. Energy Information Administration reported that Gulf Coast gas prices fell to $2.37 per gallon today from $2.39 last week, plus they remain about 15% lower than the national average. Shreveport Times

- ➤ Realtor.com data shows that in October 2025, median home prices in Caddo Parish dropped slightly from $196,000 to $195,000, with single-family home prices falling 4.1% and condo prices surging — recorded home sales also dropped 6.7% from last year. Shreveport Times
