- ➤ Members of the Krewe of Sobek held a float-loading party Thursday evening at their den as they gear up for their annual parade this weekend. The parade will start and end at the fairgrounds, pass through Queensborough, and wrap up with an afterparty at the den. KTBS

- ➤ Shreveport will soon repaint the west water tower using a revised version of the contest-winning 'Rose Tower' design after officials found the original artwork would have cost $300,000.
