  • Rick Wheat (15 years as CEO) resigns from Methodist Children’s Home and will serve as chief advocacy officer to boost child welfare policy, while board appoints Luke Allen as interim CEO as they search for a permanent replacement.   • U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick spoke Friday, Jan. 30 at the Washington Hilton Hotel during an Economic Development Luncheon with over 300 Louisiana business, civic, and government leaders.
