  • Louisiana schools have updated their evaluation system to help teachers improve with a new rubric measuring instruction, lesson planning, classroom environment, and professionalism. Wendi O’Halloran (director at NSU’s School of Education in Natchitoches) said the system offers clear guidelines so educators can refine their teaching skills.  The Shreveport-Bossier City Advocate

  • Green Oaks beat Many 58-53 in overtime on Friday, Feb. 27 at Green Oaks Performing Arts Academy in Shreveport and advanced to the second round of the Non-Select Division III playoffs.  The Shreveport-Bossier City Advocate
  • Local high school baseball and softball games on Saturday produced impressive results as Haughton finished a 3-game sweep of Northwood in baseball while Calvary maintained an undefeated record with consecutive wins in softball.
