  • Over 27,000 SWEPCO customers lost power in ArkLaTex due to storms, with efforts underway to restore service.  KTBS

CRIME NEWS

  • A man was stabbed in the chest in Shreveport, and police are investigating the incident reported early on March 4.  KSLA
  • A Shreveport man, Shyheem Davenport, has been arrested and charged with second-degree battery after allegedly assaulting his 87-year-old grandfather and making a threatening sexual advance towards another individual.  KTAL

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning and watch for northwest Louisiana, including Shreveport, due to a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado, with risks of flying debris and structural damage.  Shreveport Times
