- ➤ A Shreveport man named SirElderick Hays was found guilty of manslaughter after he robbed a victim of his rifle and shot him in the neck in a 2021 incident — he now faces sentencing on April 16 and up to 159 years in prison. KTBS
- ➤ SirElderick Hays, 25, a Shreveporter, was convicted on March 12 in Caddo District Court of armed robbery, felon in possession of a weapon & manslaughter after he stole a rifle and shot a man in the neck near Lakeside Garden Apartments, with sentencing set for April 16, 2025 and a potential total of 159 years in prison.
