ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On March 15, a three-alarm fire at Pratt Industries at The Port burned 2.5 acres, injured one firefighter and required over 100 firefighters to battle high winds, with Pratt reopening Sunday under careful surveillance and the Port funding temporary housing for Station 20— a move to boost future response times. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Two men (JaCorey Fuller, 28, and Noah Penn, 24) were fatally shot in downtown Shreveport near Club Haze on Texas Street over the weekend; Fuller died shortly after arriving at Ochsner LSU Health hospital and Penn died hours later as police continued investigating the shooting. KTBS
- ➤ Emergency crews responded to a fatal wreck Tuesday morning near Milam and Hearne — the car struck a telephone pole and the female driver died — and police advised drivers to avoid the area. KSLA
- ➤ The Shreveport Police Department is searching for runaway juvenile Mariah Hill, 17, who was last seen last Tuesday in the 8800 block of Melanie Lane wearing a white t-shirt and black and blue joggers—she is 5’2” tall and weighs about 165 pounds. KTBS
