- ➤ Gas prices in the Gulf Coast region have risen to $3.60 per gallon for regular fuel today from $3.41 last week, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, and analysts expect another 20-30 cents increase in coming weeks as trading uncertainty lingers. Shreveport Times

- ➤ Bossier City Council will vote Tuesday on letting Mayor Tommy Chandler sign an agreement to use a $2M federal TAP grant + a $400,000 local match to upgrade sidewalks along a 5-mile stretch of Barksdale Boulevard between Central Park Drive and Westgate Drive; the project is still in early design. - ➤ The Shreveport Department of Water & Sewerage is beginning emergency repairs on a 42-inch sewer main near the 6900 block of Buncombe Road today, with the road closed from Sunday evening and work expected to last up to seven days. KTBS
