- ➤ Owner Athanasios 'Tom' Triperinas of Yeero-Yeero fell ill in Greece and spent 12 days in a hospital before he died there; his credit cards were maxed and his funds disappeared—someone took his money. - ➤ Cork No. 19 has been rescheduled to Sunday, April 6 due to severe weather. The event will take place at Festival Plaza from 2-5 p.m.—offering wine, food from local restaurants, live music and raffle prizes—and tickets purchased for the original date remain valid while refunds are available only to those who bought through Webconnex. - ➤ LSU Shreveport broke its enrollment record for a third straight semester with 10,926 students as its second spring session continued. Chancellor Dr. Robert Smith said the university is growing in all programs and will hold two graduation ceremonies in May. KTAL
