  • A WalletHub study ranked Shreveport as the fourth unhealthiest city due to low ratings for food, green spaces, fitness, and health care. A recent assessment by Ochsner LSU Health found high obesity and inactivity rates — showing the need for better access to healthy living.  Shreveport Times
  • The Caddo Sheriff's Office teamed with LifeShare Blood Center to host the 'Step Up & Save Lives' blood drive Monday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at 1101 Forum Drive — mobile donor coaches collected donations, and donors aged 16 needed a photo ID plus a parent or guardian’s permission.  KTBS
