- ➤ Cross Lake Floatilla will return on June 14 at the new El Karubah Shrine Temple and Boat Launch on South Lakeshore Drive in Shreveport and will feature a superhero theme, boat parade, BBQ, live music and fireworks. - ➤ Two teenagers were charged after the fatal shooting of Miranda Clements, a 16-year-old from Hosston, occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Easter Sunday on the 300 block of Pardue Street in Vivian (the suspects, a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl, face charges for illegal handgun possession and negligent homicide). - ➤ Shreveport Police arrested Jason Fisher Jr.—the suspect—after officers found a 17-year-old male with a stab wound to his upper back and lower left shoulder on the 2900 block of Peach Street; the victim said he was stabbed by a male acquaintance and Fisher now faces one count of Aggravated Battery along with outstanding warrants from Bossier authorities.
