- ➤ Deputies say a CPSO officer attempted to stop a sedan at South Lakeshore and I-220 but driver Jefferey Moran fled west on I-20, crashed near exit 5, exited his vehicle and ran toward Greenwood Road—jumping two fences before being caught in the Averitt Trucking parking lot as a firearm was recovered from the car, and officers booked passenger Cadarius Southall while issuing a summons to Taylon Brown. - ➤ The Shreveport City Council discussed possible pay raises for police officers on Monday—citing that incentives helped grow the force from 422 in 2023 to 438 in 2024 with nearly 450 expected by the end of 2024.
