GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ DOTD announced that several on and off ramps along I-20 in Shreveport will reopen starting April 28 — including the Old Minden Road ramp on Monday evening and the Industrial Drive off-ramp on May 2. The I-20 eastbound off-ramp at Barksdale Blvd will close on April 29 for three months of reconstruction, and project work is 77% complete with final completion expected by late 2025 or early 2026. - ➤ Residents of Northwood II Apartments face forced relocation after their landlord stopped paying the mortgage and the sheriff’s office seized the property—local housing officials provided vouchers to cap rent at 30% of income.
