- ➤ Louisiana Public Broadcasting will air a new LA64 episode on Monday at 8 p.m. that will spotlight Caddo Parish’s food, culture, and history—featuring stops like Shreveport’s Municipal Auditorium and scenic Caddo Lake. KTBS
- ➤ The Stuffed Shrimp Festival will return downtown on May 10 at Festival Plaza during Mother’s Day weekend and will treat attendees to stuffed shrimp, barbecue, and carnival-style activities for all ages (the event is designed to bring families together from the ArkLaTex region). KTBS
- ➤ The Johnny Horton Foundation held a free fundraiser at Hurricane Alley in Bossier City on Thursday, Apr. 30 to celebrate Horton’s 100th birthday and honor Shreveport’s music legacy.
