- ➤ The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office received the Keep Louisiana Beautiful Trash Receptacle Grant to install bins in high-traffic areas. The parish commission placed three receptacles near the courthouse + juvenile court to reduce litter. Shreveport Bossier Journal
- ➤ Bossier City officials reached an agreement with Rock Solid Athletic Club to operate the Mike Wood Pool so it stays open this summer. The city council will review the deal today + vote on it May 12 before sharing more details. Shreveport Times
- ➤ Mayor Tom Arceneaux held a press conference Monday, May 4 to address Shreveport’s water system receiving an F grade, and he said officials are reviewing plans to improve water quality. KSLA
