EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ LSU Health Shreveport will hold its largest graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 10 at 10 a.m. at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium where 242 students from the Schools of Applied Health Professions, Graduate Studies, and Medicine will receive their degrees; Mrs. Esperanza Moran will help confer diplomas and Dr. Steven Conrad will deliver the commencement speech (including awards for 156 Doctors of Medicine, 46 Doctors of Physical Therapy, and others). GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The DOTD will begin a surface abrasion treatment on the I-220 and I-49 interchange Sunday night—this work is set to add friction and reduce crashes in an area known as the Shreveport Triangle.
