- ➤ The Shreveport Fire Department fought a large house fire on Ellerbe Road that was declared a total loss after 42 firefighters responded just after 7 p.m. Friday — the crew brought the blaze under control by 8:30 p.m., one person escaped unharmed and the cause is under investigation. KTBS

- ➤ Brittney Hazelton from ArkLaTex Artistry visited the historic R.W. Norton Art Gallery at 4747 Creswell Avenue—an iconic venue built in 1966 by the Norton family that houses renowned art pieces and modern exhibitions. - ➤ Louisiana Secretary of State Nancy Landry is backing measures that will bar noncitizens and foreign entities from funding ballot measure campaigns, as proposed in Senate Bill 109 and House Bill 590.
