- ➤ On May 1, a woman left her cell phone at Walk-On’s on 7031 Youree Drive and later discovered that her Apple Pay and bank accounts were used without her permission; police identified Joseph Crooks as the suspect and issued a warrant for his arrest on May 8. Shreveport Bossier Journal
- ➤ Shreveport police are searching for 49-year-old Jason Randall for charges of domestic abuse battery after he allegedly strangled a woman at a Walmart parking lot on April 25—arrest warrants were issued on May 7 and anyone with information is urged to contact police. Shreveport Bossier Journal
- ➤ Shreveport police are asking for help to locate missing juvenile Ma' Kenzy Taylor who was last seen Sunday evening in the 500 block of West 76th Street — she is 4'11, weighs about 185 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes — and she may need her prescribed medications due to a medical condition. - ➤ Cross McCray, a 23-year-old from Shreveport, burglarized his employer’s business and set it on fire on December 20, 2022—causing over $500 in damages—and was convicted of arson on May 8 in Caddo District Court; he faces sentencing on June 17 with potential penalties of up to $15,000 and 15 years in prison.
