Shreveport Police and Louisiana State Police responded to a call about an armed person near the intersection of Marshall and Crockett at 1:49 p.m. and had 21 units on scene by 3:20 p.m.—no further details are available.

Today, Shreveport City Council sought answers after a state review gave the city's water an F (55 out of 100) due to aging infrastructure and manganese issues.

Interim water director Brandon Sneed said the city will add generators and repair water towers to improve the grade in the future.
