- ➤ The Caddo Parish School Board met Tuesday (May 19) to debate aligning its voting districts with those of the Caddo Parish Commission to ease voter confusion. If approved, the change will require a formal redistricting process. KTBS
- ➤ The Greater Shreveport Chamber hosted the 2026 National Civics Bee Regional Competition Tuesday at LSU Shreveport (the first time the event was held in Caddo Parish), where over 100 middle school students submitted essays on community issues; Bhavik Kondala won $500 and advanced to the Louisiana State Civics Bee Finals.
