- ➤ Crews with the Shreveport Fire Department responded to a fire at the vacant Jolie Apartments on Quail Creek Road on May 24—over a dozen units were dispatched and officials said the cause is under investigation. KSLA
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Jesus Perez, 45, was found guilty by a Bossier Parish jury on May 23 for three armed robberies committed in late 2021 in Bossier City—officers linked items from his truck and home to the crimes. KSLA
- ➤ A Shreveport mother was fatally stabbed by her 19-year-old son while sleeping at her home in the 6000 block of Double A Drive—authorities say he admitted to the act after reporting he was hearing voices and he has been charged with second degree murder. KTBS
