- ➤ Sen. Blake Miguez introduced Senate Bill 101 that would let anyone legally allowed to carry a gun do so as close as a school’s property line, and Rep. Dennis Bamburg Jr. sponsored a bill to clarify that restrictions on concealed carry at parades apply only to active participants—officials say the changes aim to harmonize gun laws while safety concerns persist locally.
