- ➤ Cleco, an investor-owned utility serving nearly 300,000 customers in 24 parishes, has begun its search for a buyer and sent proposals to potential buyers with responses expected within six months — state regulators received the request today. - ➤ Willis-Knighton donated $48,000 Monday afternoon—money used to buy 10 cameras for the Anglin/Myers Initiative, a crime prevention effort by the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office and Shreveport Police Department that aims to speed crime solving and prevent further violence. KTBS

- ➤ Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry is flying to Paris this week with Economic Development Secretary Susan Bourgeois to attend the International Paris Air Show — he will promote the state’s growing aerospace industry and seek international investment. Shreveport Times
- ➤ The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office and Shreveport Fire Department will host free fire safety workshops at Sheriff’s Safety Town on June 25, July 10 and July 31 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.—participants must be 14 and older to receive hands-on training on fire extinguisher use. KTAL
- ➤ Shreveport leaders launched the Block By Block initiative on Monday to fight blight by surveying neighborhoods, cleaning up lots and planning to turn neglected spaces into homes and businesses.
