- ➤ Police responded to a shooting shortly after 9:00 p.m. on Saturday near Ford Park at 5800 South Laeshore Drive, where they found a 19-year-old male critically injured in a gunfight with multiple armed individuals—authorities say his survival is grim and urge anyone with video footage or details to come forward. - ➤ Fire Engineer Austin Tull from the Shreveport Fire Department has been named Paramedic of the Year by the Louisiana Association of Nationally Registered EMTs for his 19 years of service and leadership in rescue operations—officials say his dedication sets a high standard for local emergency care.
