- ➤ A 19-year-old man was critically injured in a shooting near Ford Park on June 22 shortly after 9:00 p.m. in Shreveport, and police reported he suffered a gunshot wound during a gunfight with multiple armed individuals+ detectives are urging anyone with information or video footage to come forward immediately. KTAL
- ➤ Shreveport police arrested Tidarius Reddix on Tuesday morning after he reportedly attempted to carjack a man on June 7 at 4650 Lakeshore Drive, an incident that left the victim with a gunshot wound to his left arm — Reddix now faces one count of carjacking. KTBS

- ➤ City Council members said they felt left out of the Block by Block Blight neighborhood selection process after learning about it at a press conference on Monday — Mayor Arceneaux apologized and promised that council members will have more input as the initiative moves forward. KTAL

- ➤ Startup Prize: Focus on Health held its largest in-person qualifying event in downtown Shreveport from June 20 to 22 — 41 health startups from 15 states joined with help from Louisiana Economic Development.
