- ➤ Caddo Parish Animal Services is seeking forever homes for two-month-old kittens Flex and Fluffy who arrived on May 7 and were cared for by a foster family before returning to the shelter. The facility on Monty Street offers a quick adoption process with a $50 fee (covering spay/neuter, microchip and vaccinations). KTAL

- ➤ On June 25, Shreveport Mayor Tom Arceneaux honored Chef Niema DiGrazia at City Hall—she was recognized for her win on Beat Bobby Flay and her contributions to the local culinary scene. KSLA
- ➤ A neighbor in Broadmoor has complained for years about flooding and cracked drainage near his home, so City crews inspected the area on June 25th. The City’s water and sewer department said a joint project between departments—pending contractor availability—will schedule repairs in the coming months. KTAL
- ➤ A Broadmoor resident said his property has suffered from four years of flooding and a cracked road on Grover Place—city crews inspected the site and noted a joint project by Water and Sewerage and Streets and Drainage will be planned. Officials warned that delays securing contractors may extend repairs for months—residents can report issues via the Port City 311 app or by calling customer service. KTAL
- ➤ Top national security experts met Tuesday at LSU Shreveport for the annual Nuclear Triad Symposium—looking at America’s nuclear defense amid evolving global threats.
