On July 9, Shreveport police arrested Taylor Holste for home invasion and Rebecca Hartfield for contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile—after a forced entry incident at a residence in the 8900 block of Blom Boulevard where Holste allegedly assaulted a juvenile’s grandfather, and police confirmed the runaway child was safely placed in custody.

Shreveport native and Portland Trail Blazers center Robert Williams III headlined a free youth basketball camp run by Caddo Parish Parks and Rec for grades 5-8 at LSU-Shreveport on Tuesday, July 8, where he taught basketball basics and discipline.

He said he will head to Las Vegas for NBA Summer League and rehab following his knee injury—showing his commitment to both his game and community.
