- ➤ Caddo deputies captured Marcus Allen Harbour (35) on Saturday morning after a vehicle chase that began with a tip about a suspicious vehicle and ended on Henderson Gin Road with no injuries reported. KTBS
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Many Louisiana teachers use sick days or borrow time to care for their families because most districts offer only 65% pay for extended leave, which cuts into their earnings. Lawmakers have set up a study group and may reintroduce a bill for six weeks of paid leave soon—hoping to help keep teachers in the classroom during the ongoing shortage. - ➤ A local viewer in Broadmoor reported years of flooding along Southfield Road and Grover Place, which led city crews from Water and Sewerage and Streets and Drainage to flush drains after a news report. Interim director Brandon Snead inspected the Broadmoor property and said his department will hire a contractor to repair a complex manhole issue (a process that may take months). KTAL
