- ➤ Clayton Strother, 56, was killed in a hit-and-run crash Tuesday night at the 5600 block of North Market Street near Interstate 49 in north Shreveport—authorities ask anyone with information to call Caddo Investigation Division or Crime Stoppers. KTBS
- ➤ A man was fatally struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run near Love’s Truck Stop on July 29 at 10:20 p.m., and the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating—authorities ask anyone with information to come forward. KSLA
- ➤ Shreveport police arrested William Mayfield after a street argument in west Cedar Grove on Wednesday morning near Bernstein turned violent when Mayfield shot a man in the lower leg and the other man returned fire with a gunshot to the abdomen—Mayfield now faces charges of attempted second degree murder and firearm possession.
