ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Aug. 7 at 5:30 p.m. a fatal traffic crash at Greenwood Road and Mission Street in Shreveport left a Mercedes CTS driver critically injured—he was taken to a local hospital and later pronounced dead while a Dodge Challenger driver cooperated with officers and showed no signs of impairment as police continue their investigation. - ➤ A 14-year-old boy—riding his bike on Greenwood Road—was hit by a white Ford pickup on Friday, August 8 and is now in critical condition at Ochsner LSU Health. KTAL

- ➤ Shreveport Police said an 11-year-old boy died late Saturday after he accidentally fired a gun he found in a home—officers responded at 9:30 p.m. on the 500 block of W. 70th St and he was taken to Ochsner LSU Health where he was pronounced dead. The Shreveport-Bossier City Advocate
