- ➤ On August 23, 41-year-old Kenrick Williams died in a vehicle collision at Illinois Avenue and Broadway Avenue in Shreveport—he was taken to Ochsner LSU Health Hospital after the crash. KTAL
- ➤ Kendrick Williams, a 41-year-old motorcyclist from Shreveport, died in a crash on August 23 just after 5 p.m.—his motorcycle collided with a car. KSLA
- ➤ On August 23, in Mooretown, Shreveporter Kendrick Williams, 41, died when his motorcycle collided with a car at the intersection of Illinois Avenue and Broadway Avenue—he was taken to a local hospital where he lost his life shortly after the crash. KSLA

- ➤ On August 24, Louisiana State Police were contacted at 3:30 p.m. to investigate a shooting involving a deputy from the DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office—one person died. KSLA
- ➤ On August 24, the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office said they are seeking help to locate 17-year-old Jakyren Pipes missing from south Shreveport—officials urge any person with information to come forward. KSLA
- ➤ On August 24, the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office asked for help finding 17-year-old Jakyren Pipes after he left his south Shreveport home at 2:36 a.m.—he is a Black teen, 5′4″ and about 120 lbs with black hair and brown eyes, wearing a dark-colored shirt and light-colored pants and has a history of mental health issues.
