ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Shreveport firefighters responded to two house fires last night—one on Ford Street just after 11:00 p.m. where light smoke was seen, and one on Highland Avenue about an hour later that needed a defensive approach with ladder trucks—and no injuries were reported as both fires remain under investigation. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Three Shreveport police officers were arrested on charges of theft and malfeasance in office after items were reported missing from a repossessed vehicle at a local casino, and they were booked Friday into the Caddo Correctional Center—officials say investigations are still underway. KTBS

- ➤ Centenary is playing an exhibition game today at Atkins Field against Westgate Christian at 6 p.m. and coach Byron Dawson is using the matchup to test new players and coach staff — the game will not count as a win or loss. Shreveport Bossier Journal
