- ➤ A local partnership led by the Northern Louisiana Economic Partnership acquired the long-idle Libbey Glass plant in Shreveport and will redevelop the 850,000-square-foot facility off I-20 at Jewella Avenue into an advanced manufacturing hub that aims to bring 150 to 200 well-paying jobs — the project was enabled by a state grant.
