- ➤ Gov. Jeff Landry wrote a letter to Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick asking if Louisiana can keep leftover broadband funds for state-led projects in artificial intelligence, education and workforce training. - ➤ Louisiana Congressmen Cleo Fields and Troy Carter, both HBCU graduates, condemned the threats that forced five HBCU campuses into lockdown — with class cancellations in effect until the weekend — and called on the FBI to investigate the incidents. Shreveport Times
- ➤ Transportation officials said I-20 is 91% complete and will finish between December and February while the Jimmie Davis Bridge is 39% complete and set to finish by mid to late 2027—officials announced a preferred alignment for the I-49 inner city connector with a public hearing planned in December.
