- ➤ The YMCA of Northwest Louisiana is still accepting donations for its Play Ball campaign as it collects funds to pay for a new baseball/softball complex that will host events starting summer 2026. - ➤ Caddo Parish School Board approved a new plan that requires first graders to show reading mastery before moving on and set rules for using AI in class—aiming to shift focus from test scores to actual skills.
