- ➤ Caddo Parish Schools Superintendent Keith Burton said on Tuesday that bus driver absenteeism dropped 52% after incentives were introduced—this improvement kept all bus routes running smoothly compared to last year. - ➤ Governor Jeff Landry warned Louisiana SNAP cardholders that starting November 1 they will not receive new benefits if the federal shutdown in Washington, DC continues—only remaining benefits can be used.
