- ➤ Retired Lt. Colonel Bruce Donovan Anderson, 90, died in Shreveport on October 23. Visitation is at Rose-Neath Southside Funeral Home today (from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.), and the funeral with burial at Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery is set for October 29 (at 9:30 a.m. with interment at 11:30 a.m.). ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A late-night fire on October 27 tore through 10/10 Bar & Lounge in downtown Shreveport, damaging the top floor and engaging 31 firefighters before the blaze was contained — the restaurant announced plans to rebuild. KTAL
