- ➤ The Full for the Holidays program at Bethune Oak Park Elementary is asking community members to donate microwaveable meals for students during holiday break—items like macaroni and cheese, soups, pasta bowls, and oatmeal cups are needed to help ensure the children are fed. - ➤ Bossier Parish students, staff, and the school board replenished the Airman’s Attic with food and essential items at the Bossier Instructional Center as part of the district’s 11th annual Day of Service—182 cases of canned goods were donated by the sheriff’s office to support military families during the government shutdown. Ray, launched a $2 million campaign on November 6 to build Grace Point Apartments—a 12-unit transitional housing complex for homeless families in Shreveport.
