GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The longest government shutdown ended but Shreveport travelers are still facing flight cancellations; Airport Director Larry Blackwell said three flights were canceled today with more expected through next week—delaying a return to normal schedules. - ➤ On November 12, BRF and the Committee of One Hundred donated $60,000—split evenly—to install security cameras on Monkhouse Drive near the airport, part of a broader plan for lighting, landscaping, and infrastructure upgrades.
