- ➤ Gulf Coast region gas prices stayed nearly unchanged for the second week at about $2.60 per gallon for regular fuel on Monday—this rate is 4 cents higher than last month and about 15.1% lower than the national average of $3.06. A year ago, the EIA recorded a 1% higher price at $2.63 per gallon. Shreveport Times

- ➤ The City of Shreveport announced that temporary lane closures will occur on Kings Highway between I-20 and I-49 from Dec. 8th to Dec. 12th between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to support drainage structure work and ensure safety — drivers should reduce speed, follow signs, and heed flagger instructions. - ➤ Evangel Eagles won their playoff game by defeating St. Paul's 34-14 as running back Kionte’ Mims II ran 104 yards including a 6-yard touchdown—helping the team post 339 rushing yards.
