- ➤ SLB is expanding its Shreveport facility at 7600 Antoine Blvd with a $30 million investment that will double the plant's footprint and add 600 direct jobs (additional indirect roles could boost regional opportunities) starting January. - ➤ Louisiana’s health department announced it will not renew its UnitedHealthcare Medicaid contract covering 345,000 members, with transitions set to begin on Jan. 1, 2026. - ➤ Gov. Jeff Landry's team abruptly canceled 2026 Medicaid contract extensions with Aetna Better Health and UnitedHealthCare, affecting 488,500 enrollees who will be moved to other plans before year's end—patients can switch within 90 days starting Jan. 1. KTBS
