- ➤ Forty new freshmen were inducted into the LSUS chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta at Noel Memorial Library earlier this month — it is the largest induction in the chapter’s history with nearly double the previous class. Shreveport Bossier Journal
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ At the 2025 Fit for Life Expo in Shreveport, health and wellness were in focus as competitions in boxing, martial arts, arm wrestling and aerial expression demonstrations showed that fitness benefits people of all ages (coaches stressed stretching, hydration and supplements to prevent disease). Featured vendors offered insights on physical therapy and lifestyle improvements (athletes noted that both recreational and competitive classes build strength and confidence). KTAL
