- ➤ Webster Parish Sheriff Jason Parker was unanimously elected as Sergeant-at-Arms on the Louisiana Sheriff’s Association Executive Board after the annual conference ended July 31 in Destin, Florida—he said his new role will guide decisions on budgeting, equipment, and legislative matters and may set him up for a future run for LSA President.
