If you voted Tuesday, here's how it landed. Caddo Parish voters rejected a $60 million bond that would have funded the majority of a proposed $70 million regional sports complex. In unofficial returns, 58% voted no.

The defeat leaves the project's future in question. Parish and civic leaders now have to decide whether to seek other funding or scale back. Backers had argued that youth tournaments and regional events would bring tourism dollars to hotels, restaurants and businesses.

  • Planned sports: basketball, indoor track and field, wrestling, pickleball
  • Bond ask: up to $60 million in general obligation bonds
  • tax: passed, 9.04 mills for 25 years
